This Accurail 50' Exterior-Post Modern Boxcar kit is based on widely used 50' boxcars in use since the 1960s. The car features a one-piece detailed injection-molded plastic body with most details molded in place for durability during operation. Other features include plug or sliding doors as appropriate for each paint scheme, realistic decoration with end reporting marks, under-body details, trucks with Delrin wheel sets, non-magnetic axles and AccuMate magnetic knuckle couplers. This steel boxcar kit is great for modelers of all skill levels and includes complete instructions.
